As of the 24th April 2017, the LGCA is now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and has all of the benefits, plus a few extra responsibilities, which come with it. The LGCA must now have a constitution, keep a register of members and trustees and send accounts and an annual return to the charities commission each year. The LGCA’s constitution sets out our vision and objectives. The association aims to benefit the community and enhance social welfare; generating community spirit, fostering a sense of pride and making Lyde Green a great place to live and visit.

This new status is a key milestone in our exploration of the possibility of running the Lyde Green Community Hall. We have been working hard alongside our partners to fulfill our charitable aims and take full advantage of this opportunity and the associated benefits to the community. Fingers crossed everything continues to go to plan!
