Kelly

Chairperson
I’ve been the Chairperson for the LGCA since December 2015 and I also currently lead the events team. I work hard to bring Lyde Green great events to bring the community together, including our annual Summer Sizzler which is held in July.
Being a part of the LGCA has given me opportunities I would never have imagined. I have gained so many more skills, increased my confidence considerably and met some amazing people along the way.
Bob

Vice-Chairperson
I’ve been part of LGCA since early 2016. I’m a trustee and am now also Vice-Chair. I lead the Community Centre team and have been involved with decisions ranging from the colour of the flooring and the kitchen layout to appointing our new Community Development and Centre Manager.
I want Lyde Green to be a great place with a real sense of community.
Louise

Secretary
I’m a trustee and am involved in the children and young people team. I am also the Secretary. I have found it to be very rewarding.
After moving to Lyde Green as a stay at home mum and not knowing anybody, I joined the LGCA to meet people and give me new skills for my CV whilst making sure Lyde Green is a great place for children to grow up.

Laura

Trustee
I volunteer because….. I heard there was cake!
And because I like to help people and am also building my family life in Lyde Green and want to make it the best it can be!
I’ve been involved since 2016. I work with the Lyde Green Partnerships group to seek resolutions to residents issues and am involved in the set up of the Community Centre and Café.
Sue
Having recently moved to Lyde Green and knowing how important good community spirit is, I was the previous secretary from 2018 – early 2020.
I’m pleased to be part of a friendly enthusiastic and welcoming team!
Sadik

Trustee
As a Lyde Green resident, Local Councillor on Emersons Green Town Council, Father of two and a Pharmacist, I have a lot of reasons to care about out local community.
I’ve been an LGCA trustee since late 2018. The LGCA is one way of me giving back to the community in which I live and making sure we shape it to be an amazing place to live for all our residents.
Teresa

Trustee
I moved to Emersons Green five and a half years ago to take up the post of Vicar of Mangotsfield, which then included Mangotsfield and most of Emersons Green and much of the then planned housing for Emersons Green East. It has been a privilege to have been present at the formative stage of what is now Lyde Green and also to be an early member of LGCA.
I am a trustee of LGCA and whilst helping Lyde Green to become a distinctive vibrant community I also have the benefit of knowing other parts of the wider community and work to help Lyde Green to feel a part of this larger community too.
