We’re really excited to see the progress that has been made for our Community Centre building!
In the past couple of weeks we’ve seen the new glass fins installed, and lots of other developments to the building, which is looking excellent!
The new glass fins are designed around the Folly Brook pond in Lyde Green, which was suggested by the community in 2016. Artist Andrew Moore has done an amazing job of bringing our ideas to life!
Earlier this week, three very lucky LGCA trustees were also able to have a tour around the build so far! The tour was another opportunity to wear snazzy hi-vis jackets and hard hats, and the rest of the LGCA team is very jealous! Laura, Kelly, and Louise took lots of pictures for us though, as well as some video footage, and we can’t wait to show you these at our Community Engagement Event on Thursday 5th October!
